Here are a few pics showing the variety of public transportation here in Portland, Oregon. There are buses, streetcars and MAX trains which are all part of the Trimet system and also the OHSU Aerial Tram which provides awesome views of the city on it's 5 minute trip up or down the hill. Overall, this is a very impressive and efficient system, which is another reason why I am proud to call Portland my home.

New Hampshire and Vermont at 60 mph
As I promised in the Waiting for the Bus post a few weeks ago, here are some pictures I took in New Hampshire and Vermont, mostly through the car window. There are a few where I was lucky enough to get out and take too. It happened to be a bit dreary and rainy for much of those two days, which made the act of taking a picture from a moving car through wet glass even more challenging. But you can still see some amazingly beautiful scenery any way.
